Travel Insurance
Protect Every Trip You Take With Us
Life happens. A little planning before you go means one less thing to worry about once you're on the mountain — or anywhere else the club takes you.
We Always Recommend Trip Insurance
You never know what might come up before a trip or during one, and it's not something you want to be worrying about once you're supposed to be enjoying yourself.
The Risk Is Real
Injuries and family emergencies happen, and either one can force you to cancel a trip before it starts or leave early once it's underway. It's an unfortunate possibility on any trip, with any group.
What the Club Can — and Can't — Do
If you need to cancel before departure, we'll do our best to help find a replacement for your spot. That's not always possible, though, and if no replacement is found, you're ultimately responsible for the full cost of the trip.
Three Trusted Providers
A quick comparison of three companies our members have had great experiences with, all well-rated with strong online reviews. Pricing examples below are based on a trip costing $3,000. Many of us have used Allianz in the past with great success. Ski.com also offers trip insurance, but tends to cost more while covering less than the three below.
Allianz
The most commonly used provider among our members, with a strong track record and easy claims process.
Generali
Solid, well-reviewed coverage and a straightforward alternative worth comparing against Allianz.
TravelGuard
Another highly rated option, worth a look alongside the other two before you decide.

Emergency Medical Evacuation Coverage
Beyond trip insurance, many travelers also carry an annual Emergency Medical Evacuation and Transportation policy, through a company called MASA. It's a separate, ongoing layer of protection rather than a per-trip purchase — worth a look if you travel often.
Insurance Is On You — But We Strongly Suggest It
It's ultimately each member's own decision, but the club highly recommends purchasing trip insurance for every trip.
